ADI President, Robert Libka, first incorporated ADI, inc.  in 1994.  Since July 1, 2008 he has been working as a consultant and workshop developer, while completing doctoral coursework at Western Illinois University. 

This fall Mr. Libka presented a lecture at a national conference in Porto, Portugal. In the past two years international connections have grown to 1,300 professionals in 195 sovereignties, 3 more than the membership of the United Nations. Mr. Libka has also interviewed corporate executives in Madrid, Barcelona, Munich, Paris, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Kathmandu.

He is also visiting with church and not-for-profit leaders as the ADI team researches strategies for improving the recruitment and management of volunteers. In 2009 and 2010 Mr. Libka has partnered with three other corporations. Their activities have included improvement of education and economy in Indiannapolis and Peoria, designing evaluation systems for community service activities in Harvey, Illinois, and developing international university partnerships for Concordia University Chicago. Proviso Township High Schools

Eight years ago (2000) Mr. Libka started as a Math Teacher at Proviso West HS. Technological innovation and student engagement were priorities.  He presented lessons from his original math laboratory activities at the Illinois State Connection Conference.

After two and a half years he was promoted to a Central Office position as Director of Auxiliary Programs. There Mr. Libka directed 40 areas of academic support from Applied Science Tech Grants and Drivers Education to Student Personnel Services and Summer School. 

In 2003 the Board of Education asked Mr. Libka to serve as (CEO) Interim Superintendent for one year.  After a year a new superintendent was found and Mr. Libka returned to Assistant Superintendent. Another year later he was asked to serve again as Superintendent for a year. During his tenure at Proviso Mr. Libka served interim responsibilities for Human Services, Business Manager, Assist Superintendent for Technology and Operations and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction.

As superintendent Mr. Libka: 

  • commended by the Illinois State Board of Education for model district restructuring and school improvement planning,
  • strategies lead to surge in class of 2011 Work Keys reading scores
  • strategies in applied science lead to division juniors outperforming general population in ACT Math and Work Keys reading,
  • acquired the largest corporate sponsor and the largest grant in township history, 
  • founded the District's first foundation,
  • served in the leadership of five local boards for not-for-profit corporations,
  • launched and encouraged the development of a Professional Learning Communities model,
  • proposed 2.4 million dollars in budget cuts while negotiating with three bargaining units, all in the first 2.5 weeks on the job,
  • opened a new $40 million Math and Science Academy on schedule,
  • received, perhaps unprecedented endorsement of relationship and leadership to staff, according to a 2005 climate survey.

  • brought special education services into compliance

When his one year term was completed Mr. Libka focused on completing doctoral coursework. With his dissertation nearly complete (3 chapters written), he is seeking a senior administrative position in another school district.
