WIU EdD Program:



Fall Semester 2009 Mr. Libka completed his final doctoral course at Western Illinois University. He is now nearly complete with chapter three of his dissertation. The dissertation research is the first such study utilizing the entire population of superintendents in the State of Illinois, with records going back to 1971. All Junior students have been required to take the ACT since 1971, which provides an excepotional source of achievement data over a seven to eight year period.
    The Relationship Between Illinois Superintendent Logevity and Student Achie vement from 2002-2008.


Concluding 50 Nation Executive Assistant Survey
Over 400 executive assistants have identified key success factors and over 1,000 impediments to success. The survey analysis is now underway. Speaking engagements are being scheduled to share the results of the survey.

Building Educational Leadership Skills for the Future


Completing Case Study of Area High School Special Education Program
This high school has scored well above the state average for a number of years

The link above is to a Sun Times full page story covering a major project I was invovled in that began 3 years ago in a luncheon meeting with Dr. Tom Jandris of Concordia University Chicago.  The article describes the four-way partnership we built between Concordia, D209, D88, and Fifth Third Bank and which we launched to a host of Chicgao news teams.  Every major news network was present, and print media inquiries came from all over the U.S.
